Who we are

Avarta Fuel Tech is a proposed Indian circular-carbon technology company (legal name subject to approval). We design modular thermochemical plants that upgrade waste and residue into fuels and carbon materials a buyer can specify and test.

We are not another pellet mill. Densification is already a mature, low-margin business in India. The gap is fuel quality: grindability, moisture behaviour, volatile matter, and consistent composition against a power-station or industrial specification.

Mission

To develop and qualify engineered torrefied biocarbon and related circular-carbon products that Indian thermal-power and industrial users can specify, test and use in existing coal-handling systems.

Vision

A modular Indian thermochemical platform — qualification before replication — where each plant sits between a residue cluster and an anchor customer, and the technology stays with the company that designs it.

How the platform is structured

Know-how, engineering packages and customer relationships stay in the technology holding company. Each plant is a separate project company. Plant investors fund plant assets and plant cash flow; they do not take the technology.

Income for the technology company is intended to come from project participation and from licensing and technical support as modules are repeated. Detailed commercial terms are not published on this site. A confidential business plan is available on request under NDA.

Two decades in thermochemical conversion — from concept and patent through design to a built, commissioned and operating industrial pilot.

• Industrial delivery — Inrigo AS, Norway. Design lead for the 10 t/day continuous pyrolysis pilot: process, electrical, instrumentation and PLC, through fabrication, commissioning and test. Plant manuals, operating procedures and HSE documentation. Co-inventor on continuous pyrolysis of plastic-containing feedstock (NO 348031 B1).
• Research — SINTEF & NTNU, Norway. BioCarb+ biocarbon and carbonisation; GASBIO / GAFT gasification modelling, scale-up and techno-economics.
• India & Southeast Asia. IIT Delhi (CRDT): biogas scrubbing, compression and storage; small-scale biodiesel. Industrial energy efficiency and CDM project work across the region.

Two decades of global clinical research leadership — bridging complex data, regulatory compliance and strategic project execution across Seoul, Bangalore and global programmes.

• Clinical & regulatory. Most recently managed global clinical and non-clinical development and operations for Celltrion Inc., Seoul. Global CRO relationship management; cost-saving 505(b)(2) pathways; inspections across USFDA, EMEA, ANVISA, WHO and Health Canada; LC-MS/MS and HPLC bioanalytical methods.
• Clean energy & sustainability. Agricultural waste management, waste-to-fuel process development, and renewable-energy work under way in Karnataka — linking industrial delivery experience to Avarta’s India platform.
